Welcome to the sale of our Ford Capri 280 Brookland in absolutely stunning concours condition. This is part of our own private collection. This Capri was build number 224.

The car has covered only 13,100 miles from new which is backed up by an extensive file of history, including original purchase receipt and service books. The car has had 6 previous owners and HPI clear of accidents and finance.

It is totally original and has the factory fitted radio and even the supplying dealer number plates.

The car was purchased in February 2007 from Mr Hammond of Malmesbury who had owned the car since 21st March 1987, but due to a severe injury that prevented Mr Hammond from driving, the car had been garaged and laid up in dry storage for 15 years and not driven. The car was purchased from Mr Hammond in September 2007 with 8,820 miles on the clock and was re-commissioned, painted, and wheels and leather was fully refurbished.

In August 2008 the car was purchased by Damside Garage in Scotland, the mileage at this time was 9,809 and resold with a mileage of 10,003 the same year. The car was purchased by Mr A Down of Exeter in December 2008 with a mileage of 10,400. In September 2009 was sold to Ian Snowball of Kent who moved to Johannesburg and took the car with him as part of a small private collection

The car has past to a number of collectors and enthusiast over the years and has been maintained regardless of cost throughout its 34 year history. The car has only changed hands in recent times due a lower mileage 280 being obtained by the owners.

This car is offered with many receipts, old MOT’s Service book, and handbook. MOTs are listed below but as the car was laid up from 1990 to 2006, there is a lack of mot’s for these years. The car is absolutely immaculate, has never been in any accident, or had any welding. This is a true one off example and only a small handful of Brooklands are left in this original condition with genuine low mileage. Any inspection is welcome
